Maleflix & Bad Boys Pool Party Benefit the L.A. Shanti Project

Los Angeles, April 7th, 2005 - maleflixxx.tv proudly announces their “Surf Doggie” sponsorship of the 5th Palm Springs edition of the Bad Boys Pool Party benefit. To be held on May 7th, 2005, in support of the LA Shanti Project.

“We proudly support the goals of the Bad Boy's Pool Party and the LA Shanti Project and are excited to join these organizations in supporting our community,” states Eric Johnson, President of Sureflix Digital Distribution, operators of maleflixxx.tv.

The Bad Boy's Pool Party began in Los Angeles in 1998. The core theme of the party is to promote safe and healthy sexuality and allow members of the porn industry who support safe sex practices to give back to their community. Since then, the party has grown, moved to Palm Springs and is raising money for the LA Shanti Project - a volunteer organization dedicated to educating and empowering individuals infected with HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases.

Additionally, Will Clark USA, LA Shanti and maleflixxx.tv have a VOD theatre partnership, which donates ten percent of the gross proceeds from www.badboyspoolparty.tv to the LA Shanti Project.

Each year, supporting members within the gay adult industry gather together to raise money for this worthy cause. One hundred percent of the proceeds of this party are donated to the LA Shanti Project. Over the past three years, $112,000 has been raised for this organization. "The party has grown exponentially through the years as the event has gained strength and recognition in the gay porn industry as well as in the larger gay community,” says Will Clark, the creator and coordinator of the Bad Boys Pool Party, about the growing donation generated at this benefit. “I think that guests appreciate that the event is designed to make a direct financial impact on the benefiting organization. Operating costs are kept down so as to maximize the money that goes to keep programs running. In these times of less and less governmental money for AIDS organizations, we need to keep the doors to these agencies open."

This year, Bad Boy's is hosting 27 featured stars and 7 dancers including; Zak Spears, Peter Dixon, the legendary Kevin Kramer and Dino Philips, and up-and-comers Sebastian James, Jacob Slater and Johnny Law. The models are very active with the party and the fans. They recognize that the community and the fans are why they have their job. They support this party for two reasons: firstly, to give back to their fans and secondly, to protect the health and future of their fans and their industry.
